Andrew trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse, then moved to Ernst & Young, where he qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser. After thirteen years predominantly in International Tax both for Private Clients and Corporates, Andrew left in 1992 to establish Shaws.
Andrew specialises in advising High Net Worth Individuals on International Tax Planning and on structuring their finances in a tax efficient
manner. Andrew sets the ethos of the firm in delivering value for money solutions to clients, and presenting commercially sensible ideas that can be put in place easily.
Andrew now has
over 25 years’ tax experience, and regularly
negotiates settlements with HMRC; his most
famous piece of contentious work was the
Jocelyn and Evelyn case that was found in
favour of the Taxpayer. |
