 If we are engaged early enough our advice may enable tax or negligence related disputes to be resolved without the need to commence formal proceedings. We are always willing to offer a preliminary view as to the merit or otherwise of a claim and can assist in recommending or formulating a strategy intended to achieve the desired result. We will normally look beyond the instructions we receive and ensure that all relevant issues are identified. With the approval of those instructing us we then address all key matters in either an informal or full CPR compliant report as required. In cases of professional negligence and disputes involving, for example, accountants, you may require our opinion on the standard of care that can reasonably be expected, as well as advice on causation and quantum. We can assist at any stage of the dispute, advising on the merits of the case as regards liability, quantifying the loss and if required, providing an expert witness report. We are trained and experienced in writing clear, reasoned and persuasive reports and in providing expert evidence to the Court. |
